I much admired your "Early IBM Computers". There is one
mistake, however. Gelernter's work on the geometry program was
on the 704 not the 701 and began in the Fall of 1956 when he was
hired by IBM. Rochester had him implement an idea proposed by
Minsky at the Dartmouth Summer Research Project on Artificial
Intelligence which was in the summer of 1956.
I hope they don't put you in jail for this.
